Description:
This candidate’s tasks include configuring and optimizing network switches, routers, and firewalls; configuring and troubleshooting virtual networking, vlans, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs); developing and implementing network backup and recovery procedures; monitoring network capacity and performance; testing and maintaining network infrastructure including software and hardware devices; etc.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in STEM AND 10 years of experience, OR
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 12 years of experience, OR
High school diploma and 15 years of experience as a Network Engineer - Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS
- Experience with VMware/ESXi
- Experience with Switch VLAN setup
- Experience with VMware virtual NIC config for isolation
- Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT-related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving
- Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA)
- Active Cisco certification
